In the Data Science course at WBS CODING SCHOOL, you build your foundation as a data scientist in 17 weeks full-time. The focus is on interactive live sessions led by mentors. You are accompanied by modern learning materials and the AI assistant NOVA.
You start with a two-week primer with practical exercises. Then it's four weeks of business analytics with SQL, Tableau and Pandas, including data cleaning, analysis and storytelling with Seaborn. In the "Extracting knowledge" block, you learn A/B tests and prepare for SQL interviews. In addition, you build ETL pipelines with web scraping, APIs and the Google Cloud Platform.
Three weeks are dedicated to machine learning. With unsupervised learning, you find patterns in data. With supervised learning, you build, validate and select models. One week of generative AI and LLMs follows, in which you develop a chatbot. In the three-week final project, you solve a real problem from start to finish.
The classes take place live online, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each week combines daily stand-ups, practical projects and interactive sessions. Team projects are intended to teach you communication skills for everyday work in addition to specialist knowledge.
According to the provider, the course is beginner-friendly and is aimed at beginners and career changers. Basic knowledge in mathematics and statistics is recommended. Programming experience helps, but is not required. The course is taught in English, language level B2 is required.
After successful completion, you will receive an official certificate from WBS CODING SCHOOL. Graduates of the data courses can additionally take the PCEP certification (Python Certified Entry-Level Programmer). The career services team supports you up to twelve months after graduation with applications and career strategy.
