The 61 days are divided into clear blocks. One day introduces you to the online learning format. After that, ten days cover the basics of accounting, ten days cover booking business transactions, and ten days cover the annual financial statement. You post to inventory and income accounts and learn the organization of bookkeeping.
Ten days are dedicated to financial accounting with DATEV. You get started with the DATEV software and book business transactions and fixed assets. Open-item accounting, digitalization, and the evaluation of accounting are also on the agenda.
In the financial accounting practice workshop, you apply your knowledge for twenty days. You get to know the company and the client, complete document rounds, and close the four quarters. You describe the business development, present results, and hold conversations with employees.
Classes are held live online in the WBS LearnSpace 3D. With a personalized avatar, you move around in the virtual learning environment. Via two screens and your headset, you are connected with other learners and your trainer. The lessons are full-time, either at a location or from home.
The target audience is job seekers, working professionals, experienced professionals, and career returners. A prerequisite is completed commercial training or relevant professional experience in finance and accounting. You should bring basic knowledge such as debit and credit, journal entries, balance sheet, and P&L.
At the end, there is a nationwide standardized online exam. If you pass it, you receive the DATEV certificate in financial accounting. In addition, you get the WBS certificate and a certificate from GOLDBERG E-Bikes GmbH from the practice workshop.
