The EU AI Act is the world's first comprehensive set of rules on artificial intelligence. The EU adopted it on May 21, 2024, and it has been in force since August 1, 2024. This seminar classifies this regulation and shows you what it means for your everyday work.
It starts with the basics of artificial intelligence. You clarify what AI actually is, what technical foundation lies behind it, and where it is used. Opportunities and risks are considered side by side.
The second block deals with the AI Regulation itself. You go through its origin and legal context, along with the key terms and general provisions. This is followed by the requirements for AI systems, the obligations, the sanctions for violations, and the implementation deadlines. Other relevant regulations are also discussed.
The third block becomes practical. You develop an AI strategy, identify risks and legal requirements, and determine measures for risk minimization. Usage rules for AI and practical tips round off this section.
The seminar is aimed at all interested professionals and managers. As well as employees who need to be familiar with the innovations and requirements as part of their duties. The provider does not specify any prerequisites.
Teaching takes place 100 percent online, on one morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Check beforehand whether your technology is sufficient for online classes. After participation, you will receive a certificate of attendance and a specialist knowledge certificate on AI competence in accordance with Article 4 of the AI Act.
Four dates are currently in the calendar: November 12, 2026, December 8, 2026, January 28, 2027, and May 13, 2027. The seminar can also be requested as an in-house offering.
