The distance learning course "Französisch Gesamtlehrgang" expands your language skills beyond everyday vocabulary. You receive the subject matter in French language, regional studies, and literature. According to the provider, it corresponds to the material of the Abitur in French. At the end, you reach language level B2.
It starts with an audio course of 14 lessons. It introduces you to pronunciation, spelling, and colloquial language. In addition, there are conversations and texts from everyday situations as well as grammatical explanations and exercises. The following study guides expand your grammar and guide you to easy readings. Later, you work with more challenging non-fiction and literary texts.
As learning materials, you get 9 study guides and a textbook with audio material for download. Readings are included. You receive your first study materials digitally and additionally in print. After that, you can switch to purely digital at any time without incurring additional costs. In the online study center, you'll find chats, forums, and your digital flashcards.
For organizational questions, a personal contact person is available to you. The distance teachers correct your assignments and give you feedback. Additionally, KILEA, the ILS AI learning companion, accompanies you. It answers your learning questions around the clock and tests your knowledge. The course is aimed at beginners and takes you to confident language use. There are no prerequisites. Technically, you need a way to record voice recordings and an internet connection. Plus a multimedia PC or laptop with Windows and a current browser.
The successful completion is confirmed by the ILS certificate. On request, you receive it as an internationally usable ILS Certificate in English. The course is checked and approved by the State Central Office for Distance Learning in Cologne under number 2112225.
You can start at any time and extend the course free of charge by 6 months. Faster is also possible; your study advisor adjusts the study plan. The total study fee remains the same. You can test for free for four weeks. With the certificate, you receive a free module to prepare for the DELF language exam.
