In this practical live online seminar, you will learn how to use generative AI in a targeted way. It is designed to support your students in planning, carrying out, and reflecting on their learning. The focus is on personalizing learning paths and strengthening reflection on one's own learning process.
The starting point is typical stumbling blocks from everyday school life. These include a lack of planning, low frustration tolerance, and superficial use of generative AI. The webinar addresses exactly these points.
Using concrete examples from various subjects, you will see how suitable prompts work. From these, learning plans, learning diaries, and differentiated tasks emerge. The common thread of your lessons is not lost. You will receive numerous templates that you can use directly in your own teaching.
Opportunities and limitations of the technology are discussed, as are questions about data protection and security. I find this part important because otherwise AI in everyday school life can quickly become a self-runner. The seminar shows you how to use it responsibly.
The date is Thursday, November 19, 2026. The seminar runs from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the online seminar room. The Cornelsen Akademie uses Adobe Connect and ClickMeeting for this, both with servers in Europe.
The training is aimed at teachers of all school types. Career changers as well as trainee teachers are also addressed. You should have basic office and internet skills.
The webinar is led by Wolfgang Biederstädt, a retired school principal. He is an expert in language-sensitive and inclusive teaching. After participation, you will receive your personal certificate of attendance.
