The seminar "AI in the Tax Practice: ChatGPT, Claude & Co." focuses on the practical use of AI in a tax firm. You develop a basic understanding of the tools' functions. Afterward, you can better assess legal questions surrounding AI.
To start, the instructor introduces the AI bots ChatGPT and Copilot as digital assistants. You see what the models can do and where their technical limits lie. A specific section is dedicated to the tax knowledge of ChatGPT and Copilot.
Then it moves on to use cases in the firm and best practices for usage. Using practical examples, you solve typical firm tasks with AI. Exercises deepen the application so you can directly take the learned material with you.
The legal section covers data protection and GDPR compliance when using AI. This also includes copyright issues, ethical and moral requirements, and liability questions. Finally, there is an outlook on EU regulation and the requirements of the EU AI Act.
The seminar lasts one day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You book it as an interactive webinar with direct exchange or as a webinar recording. If no date fits, the video is the time-independent alternative. The materials are available for download in MyEndriss 48 hours before the seminar starts. For webinar dates, the end may be around 4:30 PM due to breaks.
The offer is aimed at tax advisors and firm employees. You do not need any special prior knowledge. The seminar is taught by Martha Kiehl, a certified tax specialist (Diplom-Finanzwirtin). The instructor trains tax advisory firms on how to establish AI in the firm. The seminar is part of the career program Certified AI Expert in Tax and Accounting. For teams, the seminar is also available as an in-house training session.
