The "AI Software" Bootcamp (formerly "Web Development") by Le Wagon teaches you full-stack web development and AI integration in 9 intensive weeks. You learn to work with the same technologies that power ChatGPT and modern AI startups. At the Berlin location, you sit live with other participants in the classroom; alternatively, the entire course runs online.
Before the actual bootcamp, you complete a 40-hour preparation with online tutorials and a quiz on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After that, you learn your first programming steps with Ruby and Git. This is followed by databases and SQL as well as frontend technologies with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the end of this block, you build complete web applications with Ruby on Rails.
Starting with the AI week, you develop your own AI-powered applications using Large Language Models. You learn to work with OpenAI interfaces. With AI coding assistants like Claude Code, you then program more productively. In the final weeks, you build your own AI web project as a team, from idea to deployment.
Le Wagon targets career changers, entrepreneurs and product developers, tech professionals, and business professionals. According to the provider, you don't need prior programming knowledge; motivation and a desire for problem-solving are required. Before acceptance, there is a video interview and a technical quiz.
After successful completion, you receive a certificate in web development. Le Wagon is AZAV/SGB III certified and recognized by the German government. This means funding via the Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) is possible.
Le Wagon's career team supports you even after the bootcamp. This includes personal coaching, application training, and a network of over 1,000 corporate partners. Additionally, you get lifelong access to the course content and the global alumni network with approx. 32,000 members.
