The distance learning course takes you from beginner to confident language use at level B2. It prepares you for the only official certificate exam of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture. The Universidad de Salamanca also administers this exam in numerous exam centers in Germany. That's why the qualification is also called Diploma Salamanca.
A coordinated combination of textbooks, multimedia supplementary materials, and study guides systematically introduces you to the language and culture. You acquire an extensive vocabulary. You train your language skills in listening comprehension, speaking, reading comprehension, and writing. Reading Spanish-language literature and cultural texts gives you insight into the Spanish-speaking world.
The materials include 9 study guides, 2 textbooks with multimedia supplementary materials, a dictionary, and a reader. In addition, there is a training booklet for vocabulary work and a training book for DELE B2 exam preparation with audio material. You receive your first documents digitally and additionally printed at home. After that, you can switch to fully digital at any time.
Throughout the entire course, distance learning teachers correct your written and oral exercises in detail. Your assignments are graded and corrected. Personal study advisors answer all organizational questions. In the online study center, you will find all study guides digitally, an interactive online study manager, and regular online seminars.
You can start at any time and expect 15 months with approx. 12 hours per week. A free extension of another 9 months is possible. You can test the first 4 weeks for free, after which you can cancel monthly. A secondary school leaving certificate is required, and for the Salamanca exam, a minimum age of 16 applies. The course has the state approval number 304999.
After completing all assignments, you will receive the FERNAKADEMIE certificate at level B2 of the Common European Framework. On request, Fernakademie issues it as an internationally usable Certificate in English. If you pass the Salamanca exam, you will receive the Diploma de Español (Nivel B2). You can simulate the oral exam by phone in advance.
