The distance learning course "Spanisch Grundkurs" takes you to language level A2. You start without any prior knowledge and learn systematically at a gentle pace. Twelve study booklets, each with four lessons, cover vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. In addition, there are comprehensive dialogues, diverse texts and intercultural tips.
The course can be started at any time. The course duration is 14 months with approx. 8 hours per week. If you need longer, you can extend it free of charge by 6 months. It can also be done faster; your study advisor will individually adjust the study plan. The total course fee remains unchanged.
Learning is done with twelve study booklets including integrated audio files. A dictionary with a short grammar guide and a travel phrase book are included. You receive the first study materials digitally and additionally in print, at no extra cost. After that, you can switch to purely digital and flexibly change at any time. In the online study center you will find information, chats, forums and digital flashcards.
Each study booklet ends with assignments consisting of a written and an oral part. Your distance learning teachers correct the assignments and give you feedback. The advisory team is responsible for organizational questions. In addition, the AI learning companion KILEA supports you around the clock. It answers learning questions in real time and helps you test your knowledge.
The course is aimed at beginners without prior knowledge who want to learn Spanish for work and vacation. There are no participation requirements. Technically, you need a recording device for voice recordings and internet access. In addition, a multimedia PC or laptop with Windows and a current browser.
Successful completion is confirmed by the ILS certificate of completion. On request, ILS also issues the internationally usable ILS Certificate in English. The course has been examined and state-approved by the Staatliche Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht in Cologne, under number 4108425. You can test the course free of charge for four weeks.
