The course "AI in Knowledge Management" shows you how to build modern knowledge management solutions using artificial intelligence and integrate them into your organization. Knowledge is one of the most important resources in engineering. This seminar teaches you how to efficiently secure, share, and strategically use it.
You learn key concepts of artificial intelligence, including Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, and Vision-Language Models. A focus is on the strategic importance of data quality for AI projects, including shadow data and the categorization of structured and unstructured data.
The seminar takes two days, each from 09:00 to 17:00. On the first day, the focus is on basics, potentials, and limits of AI in knowledge management, supplemented by case studies and discussions. The second day is about practical implementation. One topic is the comparison of on-premise and cloud solutions, another is integration into existing systems.
Methodologically, the course focuses on interaction and practice. You discuss with other participants, solve case studies, and try out what you've learned in role plays and group work. Mentimeter surveys and current AI tools like Gamma bring theory directly into application.
The course is aimed at team and department heads, Digital Transformation Leads, and knowledge managers. They all want to make knowledge usable in their organization in the long term. The seminar leader is Dr. Daniel Hüsson, co-founder of bc4.ai and university lecturer with experience in process consulting.
At the end, you receive a certificate of participation. The course takes place on several dates, either on-site in Düsseldorf, Freising, or Neuss, or online with an instructor.
