The 'Smart Factory' course gives you comprehensive knowledge of Industry 4.0. It covers various technologies and software solutions required for implementing a smart factory.
You learn how PLC systems are used in modern production facilities to control machines and systems. This also includes MQTT, Siemens NX, databases, C++ and Node-Red.
The professional qualification takes place in the virtual classroom VIONA, using a PC with a headset and microphone. The content is taught in a varied way that suits different learning types. Instructors from all over Germany teach online.
The course lasts 6 to 12 months. Funded continuing education courses run either full-time or part-time depending on the course. It is not possible to participate while working. Participant support accompanies you until the qualification is completed.
The course is aimed at professionals and beginners who want to gain a solid understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts. It is also suitable if you want to deepen your knowledge of PLC technology, databases and IoT technologies. German language skills at B2 level are required; preparatory courses are available if needed.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of participation from the TÜV Rheinland Akademie. At the end of the course, you can obtain a certificate that confirms your knowledge of Industry 4.0, PLC technology, MQTT, Siemens NX, C++ and Node-Red.
The continuing education can be funded via a Bildungsgutschein (education voucher). As an AZAV-certified provider, the academy offers fundable programs that can be fully financed through the Federal Employment Agency or the Job Center.
