In the continuing education course on SPS for Industry 4.0, you will learn the basics of Grafcet with Siemens Graph. You will find out how to implement sequence controls efficiently. One focus is on commissioning and troubleshooting in PLC systems. This way, you safely test and optimize processes.
In addition, there are the basics of safety. Berger shows you practically how to integrate safety functions into the TIA Portal. RFID is also on the agenda. You will learn how RFID systems are integrated in the TIA Portal to modernize automation processes.
You learn at fixed times, usually in the mornings, via live instruction in a group. During the lessons, you ask questions and work together on projects. After that, there is a self-study phase with assigned tasks and scripts. According to the schedule, a session runs from Monday to Friday.
The training aims to give you comprehensive knowledge for programming, commissioning, and monitoring of modern control systems. You are to reliably test systems and efficiently troubleshoot malfunctions. Afterwards, you implement safety requirements in automation projects. You should also be able to implement Industry 4.0 applications in a practical manner.
The offer is aimed at SPS technicians who want to specialize in Industry 4.0 systems. Advanced SPS knowledge and German at level B2 are required. The course is therefore not intended for beginners in SPS technology. Honestly, I find that consistent, because the course starts directly with Grafcet.
At the end, you receive a certificate; the continuing education courses from Berger are certified according to AZAV. Upon request, a laptop and a personnel placement service are included. Berger supports you before and after the continuing education. Additionally, there is lifelong access to the bonus portal.
