The retraining starts with IT basics. You become familiar with hardware and software and learn digital tools for everyday work. Technical English for IT professions is included, as well as data protection, data security, and the responsible use of AI tools.
In the second phase, you build up technical knowledge. Networks, operating systems, databases, IT system technology, and the basics of programming are on the agenda. Then you move into your specialist area. You plan applications, write code, and work with databases. You learn to test software, document it clearly, and implement projects in an agile manner. In doing so, you prepare for the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation and Master exams.
After the specialist part, an internship follows. There you apply your IT knowledge in a company and carry out a project relevant to the exam. The job coach supports you in finding an internship in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. According to BBQ, many graduates are directly taken on by the internship company. Finally, exam preparation gets you ready for the written and practical exams.
The offer is aimed at IT-interested job seekers without completed vocational training. Students and trainees without a degree are also addressed, as well as career changers and re-entrants. At the end, you get a recognized vocational qualification with an IHK exam. As an IT specialist for application development, you develop application systems and make them available to your clients.
