This retraining program will lead you to a fully recognized professional qualification as an IT specialist in application development within 24 months. You will develop software solutions, from mobile apps to complex systems for business processes. Testing, documentation, and maintenance are just as much part of the daily routine as programming.
Content-wise, you start with the basics. You describe the company and your role in the organization and set up workplaces according to customer requirements. After that, you integrate clients into networks and adapt software for data management. Later, user interfaces, implementing functionality in applications, and customer-specific application development are added.
One focus area is artificial intelligence. Two modules, each with 80 teaching units, cover techniques and development in the field of machine learning. Additionally, you can acquire further certificates, such as Professional Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Product Owner. Business English VPET is also on the schedule, for which you need English at level B2.
The lessons take place as online live training at one of indisoft's locations. A six-month internship is firmly scheduled and divided into two phases. In the first three months, you gain initial insights into the corporate IT structure. In the second three months, you deepen what you have learned and carry out your IHK final project.
The retraining program is aimed at people who see their professional future in the digital world. It is also addressed to university dropouts in IT, career changers, and job seekers. You should think analytically, enjoy learning new things, and speak German at least at level B2. A secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification is required, along with a minimum age of 18 years.
At the end, you take the external final examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. You will receive the IHK certificate and a participation certificate from indisoft GmbH. In addition to the technical content, there is job application and placement coaching. The learning materials are provided by the provider, and you retain permanent access to the i-Lab learning community.
