As an IT specialist for data and process analysis, you optimize digital business processes. You analyze data and processes and integrate new digital business models. You also develop machine learning systems. You keep information security in mind for all tasks.
The retraining takes 24 months full-time. The internship at a company lasts six or nine months. At least six months of practical work are firmly planned. According to the course page, the next full-time start is 07.09.2026.
The curriculum follows the nationwide training regulation and the framework curriculum for the profession. You start with action competencies for IT professions, project management, and legal frameworks. After that, Python, SQL, databases, and UML are added. At the end, there is the chamber exam, plus a provider-internal certificate or a certificate of participation. The course page states the qualification as an IHK certificate.
