In the training to become a warehouse and logistics specialist, you learn everything about warehousing. You acquire PC basics and industry-relevant certificates. In addition, you receive an SAP® user certificate.
Microsoft Office takes up 240 teaching units. They are distributed across Word and Excel with 80 units each, and PowerPoint and Outlook with 40 each. In addition, there are three warehousing modules with 160 teaching units each.
In module Warehousing I, you learn about goods receipt, location and planning, as well as warehouse types. Warehousing II focuses on order picking, warehouse costs, and packaging. In Warehousing III, you learn freight calculation, dangerous goods, and order management with Lexware.
The certifications comprise 80 teaching units. You complete load securing according to CTU and VDI2700a, dangerous goods road transport according to ADR and GGVSE, and dangerous goods air freight according to IATA. The forklift training with theory and practice takes 40 teaching units and concludes with a certificate.
The SAP® module comprises 320 teaching units. You work with SAP® Materials Management and complete the user certification.
The training is aimed at skilled workers as well as semi-skilled and unskilled workers from commercial-technical fields. In total, it lasts 7.25 months with 1160 teaching units. All modules can also be booked individually.
Start dates are available weekly, in full-time or part-time. The core teaching hours are Monday to Friday from 08:45 to 13:15. In addition, there are three flexible teaching units. You can participate online from home or on-site in Berlin, Dresden, and Leipzig.
