As a PR manager, you hold the reins when it comes to your company's public image. The continuing education course „Zertifizierte:r PR-Manager:in“ from Haufe Akademie provides you with the tools you need. It was designed in cooperation with the Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management (HdWM), Mannheim and follows their quality standards in overall concept, content, instructors, and examination.
In the first mandatory seminar „Press Relations Compact“, you get to know the power of PR and the strategic basis of press relations. You work with materials and tools of press relations, online trends, and interacting with media representatives. You learn what is interesting for editorial offices and practice success monitoring through media resonance analysis. A short excursion into crisis PR is also included.
In the second mandatory seminar „Writing for PR and Corporate Communications“, you train the success factors of journalistic writing style. You learn to align texts to target audience and strategy, and find out what makes digital communication different. Topic identification and content marketing are part of it, as is professional work with your own and others' texts.
You can attend both seminars either in person or live online. You decide the order and timing; completing the entire continuing education within two years is recommended. After the seminars, you take an approx. 45-minute E-exam on your own computer.
After passing the exam, you receive the certificate from Haufe Akademie and the Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management, Mannheim with the title „Zertifizierte:r PR-Manager:in“. In addition, you get a digital Open Badge. You can use it to showcase your competencies, e.g., on LinkedIn.
The continuing education is recommended for (career) changers into PR and corporate communications, as well as for PR employees and press spokespersons.
