The "Certified Software Developer & Cloud Engineer" bootcamp is a funded full-time continuing education program with a duration of 7 months. The course starts on 14.09.2026 and ends on 26.03.2027; CBW guarantees this start date.
The content covers object-oriented programming, agile software development, and modern cloud technologies. You develop applications with Java and Python and learn how to use the cloud platforms AWS and Microsoft Azure.
At the same time, you prepare for internationally recognized certifications in Scrum, Java, Python, AWS, and Azure. The continuing education thus combines programming practice with recognized credentials for the job market.
The continuing education is aimed at job seekers, career changers, and professionals with an interest in software development and cloud technologies. Programming skills are not required beforehand; good PC skills and analytical thinking skills are sufficient.
Before registration, a personal consultation takes place. Good German language skills in speaking and writing as well as basic knowledge of English are required. According to CBW, exceptions are possible in consultation with the respective funding body.
CBW offers the course at more than 30 locations in Germany. Examples include Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Leipzig, and Dresden. According to the provider, the continuing education can be funded with a Bildungsgutschein (education voucher).
