The continuing education "Frontend Developer UI/UX-Design" prepares you in five months full-time for starting as a frontend developer. You'll work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React and learn how to use them to implement complete websites.
In addition to pure programming, the focus is on UI/UX design. You plan websites from conception through workflow planning to data storage and analysis and finally launch them live. WordPress is also one of the tools you'll use in the bootcamp.
The bootcamp is also suitable if you haven't programmed before. However, solid PC skills and basic programming knowledge are required. CBW thus targets career changers, university dropouts, and former temporary soldiers who want to make a fresh start professionally.
Before the course starts, CBW conducts a personal consultation with you. You should have a good command of German in spoken and written form; basic English knowledge is sufficient. According to CBW, exceptions to these requirements are possible in consultation with your cost carrier.
The continuing education runs as a full-time on-site course over five months and is designed as subsidized continuing education. You can have the costs subsidized via the Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) from your Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter.
CBW offers the bootcamp nationwide at more than 30 locations. These include, among others, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart. The next start date is January 26, 2027, and the course ends on April 9, 2027.
Upon completion of the continuing education, you will receive a Webmasters certification.
