The "AI-Driven UX/UI Design" bootcamp from Ironhack runs completely remotely via Zoom. You learn UX/UI design from the first sketch to a finished portfolio. AI-powered tools are built into every module. Classes are taught by instructors who work as product designers themselves.
It starts with the basics. You dive into design thinking and interaction design. Practical labs and challenges ensure you apply what you've learned right away. Initial exercises in HTML and CSS show you how design translates into code.
Next comes the User Research module. You conduct interviews, collect data, and identify your users' needs. From the results, you create personas, user journeys, and initial wireframes. Market and competitor analyses are added, both classic and AI-supported.
In the UI section, you analyze real mobile apps and redesign their look and feel. You build design systems, style guides, and interactive prototypes with Framer. Later, you design voice-first and multimodal interfaces. You check your drafts for accessibility using AI tools.
Finally, there's the Capstone Project. You go through a realistic design task from research to final handoff. It must include at least one AI-powered workflow. In the end, you have a complete case study and an interactive prototype.
The bootcamp is aimed at beginners with no design experience. You don't need any prior knowledge, but you do need motivation and your own laptop. Before acceptance, there's an interview and a technical test. After that, you get access to an online preparation course.
After graduation, the Career Services team supports you for twelve months. This includes two guaranteed job interviews, networking events, and feedback on your resume and LinkedIn profile. Through Ironhack+, you can take an external certification for free. You can choose between UXQB CPUX-F and UX Certified from the Nielsen Norman Group.
