The 5-day training course "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - Essentials" teaches you the knowledge to work with the ERP system. Central topics are the basic modules and their functionality. The course is the first building block of the basic training for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Content-wise, you start with an overview of the technology and the user interface. You learn general functions, user management, and customizing the interface, as well as searching and filtering data.
Then it covers the basics and setup of financial management as well as general system settings. You manage items and locations, process purchases and sales, and analyze data. Finally, you learn about other application areas.
The training is aimed at new employees who want to familiarize themselves with the basic functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Together with the courses "SCM (Part 1: Essentials)" and "Financial Management (Part 1: Essentials)", this course forms the prerequisite for all advanced Business Central courses.
You should already have user-level experience with MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Internet Explorer. Basic knowledge of accounting as well as general processes in purchasing, sales, and warehousing is an advantage.
A balanced mix of theory and practice is taught with direct exchange with the trainers and other participants. You attend the course either in person in Hamburg or in a virtual classroom as an online session.
At the end, you receive a certificate of participation and the digital IT training Open Badge as an additional proof of competence, which you can share on LinkedIn, for example.
