The TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation course gives you a structured introduction to the TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition. You learn the central concepts and terms. At the heart is the Architecture Development Method (ADM), which helps companies align IT systems and business strategies.
On the first day, the agenda includes welcome, concepts, and definitions. This is complemented by an introduction to the ADM and the relevant techniques. On the second day, you deepen your understanding of the ADM techniques and work on the practical application of the ADM. Architecture Governance and Architecture Content are also covered.
The seminar mixes theory and practice and runs in direct exchange with certified trainers and other participants. You work with the official documents of the rights holder The Open Group. This allows you to directly apply what you have learned to your professional everyday life.
The course is aimed at professionals who need a fundamental understanding of enterprise architecture. It is also suitable for anyone working for or joining a TOGAF®-applying organization. Those who want to progressively reach the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner are also in the right place.
At the end of the training, there is the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 1 exam. It is a multiple-choice test with 40 questions in 60 minutes, in English. Exam fees are included in the training price. Additionally, you receive a certificate of attendance and a digital Open Badge as proof of competence.
You can book the seminar either as an on-site appointment, for example in Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, or Düsseldorf. Alternatively, it runs as a virtual classroom with an instructor. Those who want to continue learning after the Foundation will find a suitable advanced course with "TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner".
