In the Data Analytics Bootcamp you learn how Data Analysts work. On the agenda are Git, Python, MySQL and data analysis with Pandas. Plus AI and Large Language Models like ChatGPT and what they mean for the profession. You work with other participants on practical projects that fill your portfolio.
Before starting you get an online preparatory course on command line, Git, Python, MySQL and statistics. Afterwards it continues in modules: Python and Data Wrangling with Web Scraping and APIs. Next come SQL, statistics and dashboards with Tableau. The third module covers Machine Learning, cloud platforms, NLP and LLMs. Those studying full-time get a fourth module on Unsupervised Learning, Deep Learning, Streamlit and Google BigQuery.
The classes take place live via Zoom. In full-time you study for eleven weeks Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. In part-time the bootcamp lasts 24 weeks, with classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Saturdays. Ironhack relies on learning by doing with many mini-projects and a final project that you present at the Hackshow.
The bootcamp is aimed at beginners who want to switch into data analysis. According to Ironhack, you do not need advanced math or programming skills. Before acceptance, there is a personal interview and a simple technical test.
Certification is included. Via Ironhack+ you can take an exam for free. Options include, for example, Tableau Certified Data Analyst, the W3Schools SQL Certificate or Data Analyst (IHK). Twelve months of Career Services help you with your resume, LinkedIn profile and job interviews.
Through the Talent Accelerator Program you can work on a real project with a startup. Ironhack is AZAV-certified, the costs can be covered by a Bildungsgutschein (education voucher).
