In the "Data Analytics Course" at WBS CODING SCHOOL, you learn to work with data in 13 weeks. You derive decisions from it. The focus is on SQL, Python and Tableau. Plus tools like Pandas, Seaborn, SciPy, Google Sheets, GitHub, Google BigQuery and Google Looker Studio.
The course starts with a two-week primer in which you build the basics with exercises and personal guidance. Then you apply your knowledge for four weeks to business questions: data cleaning, storytelling and data-driven recommendations. Next come three weeks on A/B tests, statistics, ETL pipelines with web scraping and APIs, as well as preparation for SQL interviews.
In the analyst toolkit block, you work with spreadsheets up to data warehouses, manage large data sets and build interactive dashboards. Finally, there is a two-week capstone project in which you work on a real problem of your choice from start to finish.
The classes run entirely online full-time, Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Core are interactive live sessions with instructors, supplemented by guided exercises, team projects, daily stand-ups and the AI assistant NOVA. Machine learning is, according to the provider, not part of the course.
The course is aimed at beginners and career changers who want to move into an analyst role. The language of instruction is English, language level B2 is required. Basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics is recommended.
After successful completion, you receive an official certificate from WBS CODING SCHOOL. Graduates of the Data courses can additionally take the PCEP certification (Python Certified Entry-Level Programmer). The Career Services team supports you with application optimization, individual coaching and contacts to hiring partners for up to twelve months after graduation.
