The introduction explains how AI works, its opportunities, and key application areas in L&D. You get an overview of relevant AI tools, technologies, and typical L&D scenarios. Then it moves on to needs analysis and competency management. You see how AI makes skill gaps visible and dynamically adapts learning paths.
One block focuses on learning content and knowledge management. Learning materials are automatically created, adapted, and structured. You build interactive formats such as learning videos, quizzes, and exam content. A special segment shows you language models and retrieval-augmented generation for training and testing scenarios.
Next come analysis, evaluation, and strategic management. Predictive analytics support you in measuring success and planning in L&D. You evaluate learning, usage, and feedback data to continuously improve offerings. Chatbots and AI-supported coaching tools accompany learners individually and provide automated feedback.
Finally, the focus is on governance, ethics, and regulatory requirements. You learn about the importance of AI governance and the requirements of the EU AI Act for human resources development. Measures to reduce bias and a data-protection-compliant design are part of this. The seminar counts as continuing education under Article 4 of the AI Act for the obligation to provide evidence of AI competence.
