The in-person continuing education course "Business Development kompakt" focuses on the systematic development and optimization of business models. At the center are meta and megatrends as well as incremental and disruptive innovations and their significance for companies. A trend radar serves as a tool to analyze trends and derive innovations from them. The usage possibilities and limitations of AI in business development tasks are also covered.
One module is dedicated to market and competition: market analyses and market research, market segmentation, target group derivation, and strategic market positioning are included. Building on this, the focus is on strategy development and business model development with extended SWOT analysis and portfolio analyses. This includes working with the Business Canvas.
In the third part, the seminar covers implementation: market entry strategies including M&A, a road map, as well as business case and business plan. In addition, KPIs as key figures for success are covered. Finally, it addresses the success factors of business development.
The target audience is managers, junior managers, and project managers who want to systematically search for, analyze, select, and plan future business opportunities. The continuing education provides them with methods and tools and shows how to proceed with different tasks and successfully set up the implementation process.
The seminar takes place as a two-day in-person event, currently with dates in Munich, Augsburg, and Ingolstadt. The instructor is Dr. Urban Kilian Wissmeier. The seminar price includes the textbook "Professionelles marktorientiertes Management" by Dr. Urban Kilian Wissmeier (Verlag Vahlen).
