In the negotiation training for buyers, you learn how to conduct purchasing negotiations with suppliers confidently. You go through the phases of a negotiation and distinguish between the process and the factual level. This is complemented by the analysis of your own negotiation power, using proven concepts for how you can systematically improve it.
The second part covers strategies and tactics in purchasing. You deal with typical challenges in purchasing negotiations and learn the most important basic strategies for dealing with suppliers. You also receive concrete tips for your own negotiation situations.
On the topic of conversation management and communication, you work with proven conversation building blocks. Demo clips show you what this looks like in practice. You learn to recognize and defend against typical elements of manipulative rhetoric from sales staff, also with demo clips. A section is dedicated to your body language in the negotiation.
For preparation and self-management, you receive checklists for your conversation and negotiation preparation. The in-person session runs over two days in the provider's classrooms or in external training rooms.
The training is aimed at managers and specialists who negotiate with suppliers in purchasing. At the end, you receive a certificate of participation.
In addition to the open in-person session, the provider also offers the training as an in-house training. This is tailored to the needs of your company.
