The seminar "Vom Kollegen zum Vorgesetzten" is aimed at employees with new management responsibilities. You now lead former colleagues, or are about to. I think this very role change is underestimated in many companies, yet it often determines your further career path.
In the course, you first reflect on what makes a good leader. Then you compare your self-perception with the external perception by your team. Building on that, you assess your own strengths and weaknesses. You learn to use strengths strategically and manage weaknesses in everyday leadership.
Another component is golden rules for new leaders. They show what you should do from the start and what you better avoid. You train confident behavior towards employees, former colleagues, and your own supervisor.
Finally, you practice persuasive argumentation and the rules for giving feedback, i.e., how to praise and criticize properly. The training runs over two days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You choose between a live online webinar and an in-person seminar in Dortmund, Essen, or Münster.
After successful participation, you receive a certificate of attendance. Kebel guarantees the course will run from the first participant and offers a free repeat if you are not satisfied. From my perspective, a fair deal if you want security with such a career step.
