The course consists of two parts. The first part leads to the certificate "Transformation Expert Industry 4.0/5.0 with TÜV Rheinland certified qualification". The second part concludes with the certificate "Change Manager (IHK)".
At the beginning, you will cover the industrial revolutions and the distinction between Industry 4.0 and 5.0. You will work with maturity models and examine current trends in the industry. This is followed by the key technologies. These include collaborative robotics, additive manufacturing, sensor technology, M2M communication, assistance systems, XR, blockchain in the supply chain, and digital twins.
A separate block focuses on artificial intelligence in the human-centered working world. It covers generative AI and machine learning in industrial processes. The question of where humans continue to make decisions is also addressed. In the Internet of Things and Services, AIoT, smart services, and edge analytics are on the agenda.
Legal and ethical aspects take up a lot of space. You will deal with GDPR, BDSG, IT Security Act, KRITIS, cybersecurity, AI Act, and Green Deal. This is accompanied by fairness, transparency, responsibility, and the psychosocial impacts of the transformation. The section on digital transformation compares change management 4.0 and 5.0 and presents agile systems, lean, and smart production.
The second part starts with the basics of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. After that, it covers New Work, self-organization, agile learning, and conflict management. You will learn about process analysis, lean management, design thinking, and Scrum. In change and innovation management, you will design a change architecture and practice change communication, innovation processes, and change monitoring.
The lessons run for eight weeks full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. In weeks with public holidays, they last until 5:10 p.m. Teaching is live via the video technology alfaview®, optionally from home or at a training center. The courses usually consist of 6 to 25 participants. This is expressly not a self-study system.
The course is aimed at anyone who wants to actively shape industrial development. It is particularly suitable for employees in production, maintenance, logistics, controlling, administration, HR, and innovation management. At the end, practical project work with final presentations is scheduled. Certification as a Change Manager is carried out by the IHK.
