In the course, you acquire the practical knowledge needed for appropriate and goal-oriented communication. You learn conversation and negotiation techniques. This is complemented by conflict resolution methods that you can apply even in difficult situations. According to GFN, the goal is to secure project and company success.
The first block covers the basics of communication and personal development. You receive an introduction to behavioral psychology. Motivation and reflection are included, as well as emotions and values. This is followed by communication types, axioms, and communication models.
Next, you deepen your communication skills. It covers nonverbal and paraverbal communication channels, body language, and listening. Empathy and feedback are on the agenda, as are typical communication problems. Special interaction methods round off this section, such as arguing, questioning techniques, and digital communication.
The last block deals with conflict management and practical application. You engage with communication in conflict and conflict strategies. You practice conflict conversations specifically. As an additional offering, GFN mentions a Copilot user training and the KI-Führerschein with the basics of prompting.
The course is aimed at job-seeking professionals and managers who want to expand their communication and conflict resolution skills. It also addresses career changers and re-entrants, people undergoing rehabilitation, and university graduates. Prerequisites are basic PC user skills, German in spoken and written form, and a non-binding consultation.
At the end, there is an in-house certificate, the GFN certificate. Optionally, the KI-Führerschein and the certificate for the Copilot user training are added. The learning format is Blended Learning in the Virtual Classroom. The course runs full-time over 4 weeks, with GFN offering locations nationwide.
