Module 2: Storage is part of the partial qualification for warehouse logistics specialist. It specifically qualifies you for key tasks in the area of warehousing and goods organization. The theory takes place online in a virtual classroom. You complete the practical content in selected companies that are recognized by the IHK. Work is done with lectures, class discussions, individual and group work, as well as self-study phases. The course usually lasts 18 weeks full-time, including five to six weeks of practical phase in the company.

Classes are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:45. On Fridays, they run from 08:00 to 14:15. The provider states the start date as 12.10.2026. The offer is available at 43 locations, including Hannover, Oldenburg, Osnabrück and Braunschweig.

The qualification is aimed at job seekers with a Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) and career changers in logistics. Upon completion, you will receive a BNW certificate of participation and a certificate of internship. If you have completed all modules, you can register for the IHK external examination. According to the provider, after the module you have employment opportunities in industry, trade, and logistics companies. The partial qualification can be credited towards a later external examination or further TQ modules.
