The online course "Französisch B2 - Flexikurs" by onlinevhs@BW is aimed at advanced learners who want to expand their French to B2 level. The focus is on free speaking, more vocabulary, and more confidence in grammar.
What's special is the Flexikurs principle. For each of the 12 sessions, you decide anew. You sit live in the course room at vhs Schwäbisch Hall or join online from home. Some sessions take place completely online for the whole group. I find this model practical because a session doesn't just get canceled just because you can't go out that day.
The work is done with the textbook "Édito B2, troisième édition" (ISBN 978-3-12-529394-6), starting from lesson 7. So you already need prior knowledge from the previous lessons; it's not a complete entry into the B2 level.
In total, there are 12 sessions, always on Thursdays from 4:15 PM to 5:45 PM, from March 5, 2026 to July 9, 2026. The instructor is Beate Helbig, and the digital learning location is the Haus der Bildung in Schwäbisch Hall.
Booking is done through the portal onlinevhs@BW, which is backed by the Volkshochschulverband Baden-Württemberg.
