In the TQ1 module "Handling Assistance and Secretarial Tasks" from WBS TRAINING, you learn the basics of supporting managers and teams. You take on tasks related to appointments, correspondence, and meetings. This module is part of the partial qualification for Office Management Clerk.
Content-wise, it covers business mail, phone calls, and emails. You work with company and database systems and plan appointments and events. You create documents independently, and you support your team with minutes and presentations. The program also includes keeping a cash book.
The classes are full-time and completely live online on the TERTIA Online Education Campus TOBi. Specialist instructors teach you directly, and on-site education assistants help with any questions. During the continuing education, a PC workstation is available to you at a WBS location. I find this model useful because you receive personal support despite online instruction.
The partial qualification is aimed at people without a vocational qualification, career changers, migrants, soldiers, and working professionals. Before starting, WBS TRAINING checks your suitability in a personal interview. Language skills at Level B2 are helpful so you can follow the classes well.
At the end of the continuing education, you receive a partial qualification as proof of your new professional skills. This opens up positions such as office assistant, secretary, or administrative employee. In my opinion, these are good entry-level jobs because organizational talent is in demand in almost every company.
