In the course, you learn programming with C# in Microsoft's Visual Studio development environment. Practice-relevant exercises familiarize you with the tools and how object-oriented programming works. You work with Windows Forms and the Windows Presentation Foundation. Processing text, XML and binary files is also included.
A second block focuses on database development with Microsoft Access and VBA. You work through the database basics and get started with Access. This is followed by the basics of VBA programming and an ADO case study. The topics of IT infrastructures, networking and multimedia are also covered.
Business administration is no mere add-on in this course. You explore production and cost theory as well as operational functional areas. Modern organizational forms and organizational development are also on the agenda. Project management, presentation and visual rhetoric get you fit for working in a team.
