The "Netzwerktechnik Intensivkurs" gives you a solid understanding of the structure, configuration, analysis, and security of modern IP networks. The intensive course covers network fundamentals, Ethernet, and the OSI model, through TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, routing, and DNS. It concludes with DHCP, TLS, VPN, WLAN, firewall, and VLANs.
The seminar is not about isolated theory, but about how components interact in operation. You learn how addressing works, why name resolution fails, and when routing kicks in. It also covers how segmentation improves security and stability. Current requirements such as IPv6, TLS 1.2/1.3, secure remote access, VPN types, WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise, and RADIUS-based WLAN authentication are directly incorporated into the training.
The course runs over 5 days. The first day covers network fundamentals and structure, the second day covers architecture models, protocols, and IP addressing. The third day delves into transport protocols, routing, and DNS, the fourth day covers DHCP, encryption, TLS, and VPN. The fifth day focuses on WLAN security, firewall concepts, and VLAN segmentation.
The seminar is aimed at administrators who want to understand, operate, and document IP networks more thoroughly. Employees from IT support, system houses, or helpdesks with a network focus also benefit from it. Technical project managers and IT career starters with initial practical experience with computers, servers, and networks are also addressed.
The prerequisite is a basic understanding of IT and experience with computers and networks; knowledge of PC hardware is helpful. You do not need your own devices or licenses. The course takes place either in person at one of the training centers or live online, in groups of a maximum of 8 participants.
Your participation includes training materials, a certificate, catering for in-person events, and personal support from the trainer and the organization team. Payment is made after the seminar; no advance payment is required. If you are not satisfied, the provider offers to repeat the course free of charge or attend another training session.
