The DATEV training course "Bookkeeping (Basics)" is aimed at beginners who want to learn how to use the DATEV software. Using a sample case, you will practice the most important bookkeeping steps independently on your own training computer. Over the two-day course, the trainer will guide you through the work steps using realistic exercises in DATEV.
In the seminar, you will learn to digitally record documents and create accounting entries reliably. You will work with the chart of accounts SKR03 and SKR04 and submit the advance VAT return via ELSTER. You will manage open items as well as business evaluations and the trial balance.
The content includes basic settings and program options in DATEV, as well as setting up company master data. You will learn how to customize the chart of accounts, make opening entries, and work with batch and dialog posting. The course also covers handling debtors and creditors as well as split postings.
Each participant works on their own PC with the full version of DATEV. You can book the training either live-online or in-person at eight locations in Germany. Both formats run in the official DATEV training environment with real-life case studies. Seminar hours are from 09:00 to approx. 17:00 each day.
The training is suitable for beginners who will use DATEV for bookkeeping in the future. This includes, for example, freelancers, office and finance staff, as well as newcomers to law firms. You should have basic knowledge of accounting; no prior DATEV experience is required.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive a certificate confirming your expertise in using DATEV. INCAS Training is an authorized DATEV education partner and has been training on the software for over 15 years. The trainers bring several years of professional experience from their day-to-day work.
