The course "DATEV Lohn und Gehalt (Vertiefung)" deepens your knowledge of payroll accounting with DATEV. At the beginning, you learn about client and master data management as well as the first bookings in DATEV. After that, you cover master data entry, the payroll itself, reports, and typical special cases in payroll accounting.
Another section covers tax law and business taxes. You deal with trade tax, corporate income tax, value-added tax, as well as income tax and wage tax, and learn about tax obligations and deadlines. Building on that, you cover the recording and valuation of business transactions, including typical sources of errors.
At the end of the course, monthly and quarterly closings as well as the annual financial statements with DATEV are in focus. You work from account reconciliation to the profit and loss statement. Additionally, a module refreshes the basics of accounting, such as account types, accounting obligations, and the digitalization of accounting processes.
The process is completely digital. You learn full-time with 37.5 hours per week or flexible part-time, accompanied by a personal learning mentor. You get support from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
The course is aimed at people who want to get started in financial accounting with DATEV. Those who want to deepen their knowledge of payroll accounting are also in the right place. Prerequisites are German language skills at B2 level and a laptop of your own or one provided by OneCareer.
