The "Specialist in Financial Accounting with DATEV" continuing education course prepares you for working with the DATEV software in financial accounting. You learn about the concept of DATEV eG, set up client master data, and apply posting rules and legal regulations.
In the course, you practice booking entries for incoming and outgoing invoices, balance carryforward postings, and the creation of an opening balance sheet. This is supplemented by postings for input and output VAT, the dunning process, cash and bank postings, as well as the monthly closing.
The specialized qualification takes place in the virtual classroom VIONA, on a PC with headset and microphone. Instructors from all over Germany teach the content in a varied way for different learning types. Participant support accompanies you until completion.
The continuing education lasts 3 to 6 months, part-time participation is possible, but it is not possible alongside a job. It is aimed at job seekers and employed persons at risk of unemployment, as well as anyone who wants to reorient their career.
You should bring basic commercial knowledge in financial accounting, user knowledge of PC and MS Office, as well as German language skills at least at level B2.
After successful completion, you will receive the official DATEV certificate and a certificate of participation from the TÜV Rheinland Akademie. The course is AZAV-certified and can be funded via the Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) from the Federal Employment Agency or the Job Center. The German Pension Insurance also qualifies as a funding option.
If the funding requirements are met, the continuing education is 100% free of charge for you.
