The seminar "EU AI Act in der Praxis" introduces you to the goals and significance of the EU AI Act and provides an overview of AI systems. You will learn how AI systems are classified, which risk categories the regulation distinguishes, and what relevance it has for AI development.
A focus is on the obligations of providers and operators of high-risk AI systems as well as on building AI competence. In a practical exercise, you clarify which projects and systems from your environment actually fall under the EU AI Act.
Then it moves on to practical implementation in development: the requirements for certain low-risk AI systems including implementation examples, the requirements for general-purpose AI models (GPAI) including guidelines and Code of Practice, and the requirements for high-risk AI systems and their significance for development using guides.
The seminar comprises 8 teaching units, one teaching unit lasts 45 minutes according to the provider. You can attend it in person or as a virtual classroom, so it can be taken online. At the time of research, 12 dates were available, the seminar number is 31369.
Addressed are software developers and data science experts involved in the development of AI systems, project managers and decision-makers who lead and oversee AI projects, data analysts and other individuals responsible for the use of AI systems in their organization, regulatory and government bodies, as well as individuals researching AI and its impact on society and law.
