The "Teamassistenz Office Management" continuing education course at CPI consists of five modules that you can freely combine. You start with basic competencies such as self-organization, time management, and conflict resolution in the team. Then follows the core module Office Management with organization and planning in everyday office life. In addition, you choose IT modules on Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as a module on order processing in purchasing.
In the Office Management module, you practice secretarial tasks and formulating texts. You write correspondence according to DIN 5008 and learn to keep minutes properly. Telephone training and conversation techniques are also part of it, as well as order processing and complaint handling. You also brush up on the new German spelling.
In the IT modules, you bring your Office skills up to date. Online Communication and PowerPoint Administration are about secure communication via email and protection against malware. You design presentations with slides, slide masters and diagrams. In the Word and Excel Administration module, you practice style templates, mail merges, and formulas and functions in Excel.
The Special Purchasing module revolves around order processing and purchasing. You handle customer inquiries, create offers and confirm orders. In addition, there are goods receipt, invoices and payment processes as well as dealing with returns. In my opinion, this module is a good addition if you also want to work in purchasing.
The instruction is instructor-led, live on campus or online from home. You choose between 50 or 100 percent e-learning, depending on how flexibly you want to learn. CPI offers the continuing education nationwide at many locations. An internship is optional and can be individually integrated.
German language skills in spoken and written form are required. Before the start, CPI conducts a personal aptitude interview as part of the consultation. If funding is provided by the Federal Employment Agency or the Jobcenter, their access requirements also apply. The modules are aimed at anyone who wants to develop in the direction of team assistance or office management.
The course is AZAV-certified, which is why the continuing education can be funded up to 100 percent. This is possible, for example, via a Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) from the Federal Employment Agency or the Jobcenter. The pension insurance provider also comes into question as a cost bearer. Cooperation partners such as SAP, Microsoft and TOEIC underline the practical orientation of the continuing education.
