In the first part of the course, you will learn the basics of logistics, logistics systems, and logistics organization. This is supplemented by distribution and disposal logistics, warehouse logistics with picking systems, transport logistics, and logistics controlling. The second part of the course covers the basics of supply chain management, strategic SCM, and SCM standards. This is rounded out by Efficient Consumer Response, SCM IT tools, and supply chain controlling.
The course is entirely self-paced and starts whenever you want. The standard duration is 5 months, plus a free extension of 6 months. Your learning materials are digital distance learning letters on the online campus, supplemented by exercises, learning videos, quizzes, and online events. Within Germany, you can have the learning letters sent to your home in printed form once free of charge.
This continuing education course is suitable for employees in logistics, purchasing, and dispatching. Managers who strategically shape supply chains also benefit from the course content. The course is aimed at career starters and self-employed individuals with their own goods logistics. It is also suitable for prospective students who want to secure ECTS credits in advance. The course does not require any prior knowledge.
At the end, you will receive a certificate from PFH Akademie. To earn ECTS credits, you take two exams of 90 minutes each. For this, you receive a Certificate of Basic Studies with up to 10 ECTS credits. Without earning ECTS, ungraded assignments are sufficient for completion. You take the exams online or at a distance learning center in Germany.
The course content comes from the accredited Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration at PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen. From booking to completion, you are accompanied by personal counseling. You can pay the course fee either in one lump sum or in monthly installments.
