The continuing education course "Geprüfte:r Logistikmeister:in (IHK)" prepares you at BZW as an online evening course in 16 months for the IHK exam to become a logistics master. The classes take place live online, two evenings per week from 6 to 9 p.m. This way you can complete the further training alongside your job. You have weekends off.
It starts with the kick-off on three evenings in a live webinar. There you develop your learning strategy and are introduced to the further training. Afterwards, four modules with live webinars follow, each ending with two evenings for working on case studies. At the end of each module, you can voluntarily take a four-hour exam and receive feedback on your learning progress. Alongside, you use the AI-supported learning platform Beeps around the clock.
Modules 1 and 2 prepare you for the first written partial exam, modules 3 and 4 for the second. Before both written exam parts, you receive a four-and-a-half-day full-time exam preparation as a live webinar. For the oral exam, you additionally receive individual one-on-one preparation focusing on your presentation topic.
In the exam itself, you first take the Basic Qualifications, five written exams over two days. Afterwards, the Action-Specific Qualifications follow with two additional written exams and a 45-minute oral exam consisting of a presentation and a technical discussion.
The further training is aimed at you if you have a recognized apprenticeship in logistics. Even with a different apprenticeship profession and sufficient professional experience, you can enter the exam. You can proceed to the second exam part if your first partial exam was no more than five years ago. For this, you need the trainer certificate and an additional year of professional experience in logistics.
At the end, you hold the title Geprüfte:r Logistikmeister:in (IHK). According to BZW, this corresponds to a Bachelor's degree (DQR level 6). Participation requires a minimum number of 7 participants.
