About this online course

Basic information

This course shows you how to manage supply chains in a global economy. You will learn how to respond to complex logistics networks and growing demands on warehousing and transportation.

In strategic management, you develop supply chain strategies and learn how to minimize risks. Sustainability and ethics are firmly integrated into your planning.

In operational control, you apply modern methods such as Kanban, Andon, and JIS/JIT. This allows you to manage production and processes visibly and efficiently.

In the Lean and KVP area, you work with the PDCA cycle, the 8D report, and the 5S method. You also deepen your knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, and TOC to enhance process quality and efficiency.

In the procurement module, you analyze markets, select suppliers, and handle negotiation and contract management. Risk management in procurement is also included.

This continuing education is aimed at professionals from industry, trade, logistics, procurement, purchasing, and materials management. Consultants, analysts, IT specialists, and managers with a connection to supply chains also benefit from it.
