The distance learning course „Zertifizierte:r Logistik & Supply Chain Manager:in“ combines a self-study program with a final online exam. You will learn to strategically classify value chains and apply modern SCM concepts effectively. The Haufe Akademie developed this continuing education course together with the Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management in Mannheim.

In terms of content, you start with the theoretical basics and the differentiation between logistics and supply chain management. This is followed by controlling and key figures, procurement strategies and supplier management, as well as production and control concepts. Warehousing and transportation systems, project management, and transport and logistics law complete the mandatory modules.

Two advanced modules cover sustainability in SCM and risk management including resilience. The modules were written by subject matter experts such as Prof. Dr. Wanja Wellbrock and Reinhard Bleiber. You receive the learning content online and additionally in printed form.

The process remains deliberately flexible. You start on your desired date and have access to all content from the start of the course. For the distance learning course, the Haufe Akademie estimates approx. 95 hours of self-study time. The online exam lasts 60 minutes and is also conducted online.
