Strategic Human Resource Management

In the continuing education course "Strategic Human Resource Management," central aspects of HR management are covered that are crucial for the strategic direction of an organization. Participants learn which tasks and stakeholders are relevant in HR management and how external influences such as megatrends and stakeholders affect it. Internal factors such as employee needs and corporate culture are also examined.

The course teaches knowledge about various models and strategies, including the Business Partner Model and other innovative approaches such as the Trafo and Spotify models. A special focus is on the strategy development process, its phases and tools, including the use of key figures and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). Practical case studies and group work supplement the theoretical knowledge transfer with practical exercises. Participants develop their own target vision and action plans and discuss them in the plenary session.

The course is aimed at HR specialists and managers, HR officers, employees in HR projects, personnel developers and managers, as well as consultants and trainers in the areas of personnel and organizational development.
